Bigfoot!

Tim has always been a big fan of Monster Trucks! Since we have been married he has got me hooked on them, and now Jaxon loves them too! Last week my Dad noticed there was a truck "Bigfoot" outside the Firestone in Riverton. Jax went to see it twice, once on Friday with me and my Dad and brothers, and once on Saturday with Tim and his Mom! He loved it, he would've sat there all day! He kept saying he wanted a ride in it and then he tried to jump in it! Looks like we have a future Monster Truck Driver on our hands.....bring on the Power Wheels!!!

He even got a signed picture from the driver!

Tim always liked this picture of him and his Dad by a monster truck when he was little. He decided to take one like it with him and Jax!

Jaxon's 2nd Birthday and Halloween!!

We had a few busy days this past weekend starting with Jax turning 2 on Thursday the 30th. I honestly can't believe my baby boy is already two years old! I know I always say this but he is growing up way to fast for me, although at the same time I am so excited to see what lies ahead of him. Tim and I were both able to get off work early on his birthday so we took Jax to the Kangaroo Zoo. That is really such a fun place for kids, and a great way to get some of their energy out! After playing there for a bit we met both my family and Tim's family at Olive Garden for dinner. I think the waiters were a little surprised to see so many adults at dinner for a 2 year olds birthday party, but he is one loved kid!
Happy Happy Birthday Jax! We love you!!!

Loving his birthday cake!

Tim & I got him a teeball set. Other than holding the bat backwards he's a pro!

The next day was Halloween! Jax was so excited to see his Aunt Pris and cousin Nash who came up from St. George for the weekend! Jax was a cowboy and Nash was a football player. We took them trick or treating together which was hilarious. Nash got the concept of it a lot more than Jax did, but they were both terrified of anyone who was wearing a mask or scary makeup on their faces. I think they spent more time running away from from people than actually trick or treating. Hopefully next year they'll understand it more, but they sure looked cute!!

Cowboy Jax

All ready to go! (Pris & Nash had just given Jax the baseball glove for his birthday and he loved it so much he wouldn't put it down!)

Bronson teaching the boys that when a sign says "please take one" that means take as many as you can grab!!

On Saturday, we did a combined birthday party for both boys since their birthday's are so close. We all went to Chuck E Cheese and they loved it. We all played games, ate pizza, opened presents and had birthday cake! (well only the 2 boys ate the cake because they dived into it before we could get it cut!) Both boys walked away with a lot of nice presents. It was so nice to have everyone together, both my Grandma & Grandpa Schroeder were there as well as my Grandma & Grandpa Hamilton! Happy Happy Birthday Boys!!!
