Decorating For Christmas

We are so excited for our first Christmas in our new home!  Whitney is so excited to have a fireplace to hang our stocking and for Santa to come down the chimney!

It's tradition to always have hot cocoa with whip cream and toast while decorating

We're also very excited that we added another stocking this year.  Can't wait for Tessa's first Christmas!  So blessed to have her!

Thanksgiving 2014

I am grateful for so many things but nothing compares to my family!  I look at my kids and I can't believe how blessed I am to be their mom.
It's so crazy to think that this time last year I had just found out I was pregnant with Tess and now she's here and brings us all so much happiness.  She is such a sweet baby and she brings such an amazing spirit in our home.  Her smile can melt your heart and she has the cutest laugh ever!
Whitney is such a sweetheart! She is a friend to everyone and loves to make new friends. She is very smart and is so fun to be around.  She is always concerned for others and she wants everyone to be happy.  She also loves to laugh and be silly!
Jax is an amazing little boy!  He loves to tell jokes and make people laugh but he also has a very tender heart and he cares deeply about others.  I have no doubt the Lord made him the oldest child for a reason.  He is such an amazing big brother, and takes great care of Whit and Tess. He is an amazing kid and I love spending time with him!

So thankful for these amazing kids!

JAXON'S BAPTISM!

This week has been so busy!  Jaxon's birthday on Thursday, Halloween on Friday and today.....he got baptized as a member of the LDS Church!  I am so proud of Jax and the amazing kid that he is!  He is so kind, tenderhearted, loving, giving, and he is seriously hilarious!  I couldn't ask for a better son! I am so grateful that I get to be his mom!
Handsome Jax on his special day

 My classy men!

After his baptism, we had a lunch at our home to celebrate.  I was too busy chatting with everyone that I didn't even get pictures of everyone that came.  So sorry for those who I didn't get a picture of, we are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends who support us and our children!

When we came home from the church, Tim and I were rushing to get the food our before everyone got there.  As Tim was walking down the hall, he saw a mouse run across the hallway and under Jaxon's door.  EWwww!! and the worst time ever when we had 50+ people coming in our house.  Tim and some of the guys tore Jax's room apart to try and catch the nasty critter!  I can laugh about it now that it's over but I definitely couldn't laugh when it was happening. haha Just made his baptism more memorable I guess!

The night of his baptism, Jax went on our bed and wrote in his journal about his special day.  So glad he did so he can always remember all the details and feelings he had on the day of his baptism.  We are so proud of you Jax and I know Heavenly Father is too!
