Whitney Rindlisbach
My mom and I are so glad to have another girl in the family
Grandpa's little princess
Angela and Hannah came to visit and meet her!
Tim's family
On Thursday morning, we were waiting in our hospital room for them to finish up some tests and discharge Whitney and I so we could go home. Then the nurse came in and said they found a murmer in Whitney's heart. Tim and I didn't know much about it at first but as the pediatrician started explaining it to us we both got very scared about what to expect. She said Whitney had an enlarged heart and the murmer was being caused by a hole in the heart. Tim and I both lost it. The hospital we were at didn't have a NICU or the equipement to check on her heart so at just 2 days old, our poor baby had to be transfered by ambulance to Primary Children's Hospital. My parents met Tim and I at Primary's which was wonderful because we were both so upset we needed their support to help calm us down. Once we got there, Whitney was checked by 2 cardiologists and 3 other pediatricians. Then they left the room so they could talk and they came back with some uplifting news. They could tell what it was just by listening to her chest so Whitney didn't have to have an echo, which is like an ultrasound on her heart. They said that there is a small hole in between the 2 bottom chambers on her heart but it is pretty common in babies and they said the valve should close and it should heal itself in the next couple of weeks. PHEW!!! What a relief to hear after being so terrified all day long, I'm so grateful she's okay! Her hands were too small so they had to put her IV in her head. Poor thing :(
After they discharged her from Primarys we were FINALLY able to go home! We were so excited to bring her home to her big brother. The hospital wouldn't let anyone under 14 go into the labor and delivery unit because of flu season so we hadn't seen Jax for a few days and were missing him like crazy! Since we've been home he has been so amazing with Whitney. He is constantly hugging and kissing her, and he is such a great helper. She is so lucky to have him, I have a feeling these 2 are going to be very close! I feel so blessed and I couldn't ask for more! His first time holding her
He is always taking care of her
It doesn't get any better than this

Sounds like you guys had a really crazy time with this little one! She sure is precious and I am glad she is doing well! Congratulations
Wow! You sure had an adventure bringing her into this world! I didn't have my baby in Primary Childrens when she was 2 days old, but she was in the E.R. a few times with I.V.'s in her hand and foot! They even tried in her head, but they couldn't get it! I'm glad she's doing better!
Whitney is absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations! I'm so sorry you guys had such a scare, that would be such an awful feeling to have. I work at Primary Children's and the cardiologists are amazing, so I am glad that they reassured you everything was okay. Congrats again, I can't wait to see her grow up (and become a dancer! hehe!) Take care, sweet family!
She is beautiful, congrats you guys! I'm sure that was a scary experience with the heart murmur!
That is a pretty scary story!! I'm glad that everything turned out okay, but I'm sorry you had to have an emergency c-section and have your baby go in an ambulance! Those pictures of your sweet baby girl with Jaxon are priceless. That's awesome he is being such a great big brother and loves her so much already! Congrats and I'm glad you guys are home and doing well.
She is beautiful! Congrats to both of you. I am so glad she is home and doing well. You have such a cute family.
I'm glad to hear that everything is okay. My mom only heard that she was born so that's all the info I was given. She is so cute and I can't wait to get her a Jaylee together!
Jenae! I'm so glad that she is finally here, and that you're both doing well. I can't believe all the drama that you had to go through, but I'm glad that you're both home safe and sound now. She is beautiful, and you look fantastic! Let me know if you need anything!
I can sympathize with you and the terror of your little one in trouble and you just trying to do the best as a parent! Especially after feeling her move and loving her even before she is in your arms. I am so happy everything has worked out! She is gorgeous and I especially LOVE the picture of Jax holding her! Congratulations you are now a family of 4!
